These ball end cables fit perfectly into crosstop levers when used as the only brake lever and not in row with ordinary (and larger) cable levers. This set up is very popular with track drops, bullhorns and neat straight fixie like handlebars. The ball of the cable drops into the hole of crosstop lever and it looks better and smooth.
